hello world.
last Friday i played soccer on the pitch
after months of absence.

i was sitting on the bench during the first half.
their left winger was terrorizing the defense
and the half ended 3-0 to them.

i was brought on the second half.
oh well.
i did what i did.
i "lobang" the right back and gave a through
ball to my left winger,
and he slotted the ball home.

i did a couple of defending and one or two corners.
held the ball alot 30 minutes before the game end.

it was exhausting but worth it.
i hope to play again.

Safra the game at 9pm.
floodlights and whatever.

when someone ask you about your day,
you politely tell them it was okay
even though it's not.

the aroma or the smell of pulau ubin never changed
from the last time we went there.
our trip to the island was stopped
when it started raining.
(even when i wished it would at a wishing well
probably 10 cents wasn't enough.

even though it wasn't a great outing,
we did get a couple of pictures taken.
and we were often disrupted by stray dogs.

we headed home after having dinner.

i went up to meet widya after a nap.

and my god, she's one or probably
the most prettiest girl I've seen.
had supper with her.

i bumped into huda at the train station.
and accompanied her to buy food.
and i'm so tired now.

i can't believe we were pinned down
by them and their physical presence

We got a little bit angry but
it was part of the game.

Chelsea kicked the ball out,

pure RUBBISH!
i can't believe they got angry over that.
but yeah.
Drogba got red carded.

Drogba did a Zidane for me.
Zidane left football when he head butt that
Materazzi and got himself red carded.
Drogba cost them the cup.
He should be the one taking Terry's kick.
Is he going out of Chelsea?
Yeah.

I could see they had no choice to bring
the game to penalties,
well you got it.
if penalties that you want, you got it.

When Ronaldo missed his penalty.
To me, it's over cause he's the pillar

Came tumbling down.
I really applaud to Nani and Anderson
for taking great kicks even at that age.

i slept in the hospital when he was admitted the first day.
i may not do and say things that shows that i love him

it's weird.

i'm feeling all so tired about everything.

of course for the better.
i always picture myself with a Chinese girlfriend

well, i watched it a few minutes ago!
and god damn it.
it got me back into the track.

i thought i would be out of it,
as in lose interest because of the hiatus
due to the writers' strike but
it didn't.
But i could see some camera angles changes
in this episode.

i might be auditioning for the next batman movie
as two face;
probably a thinner and Asian version of the character.

woke up extra early to visit polyclinic for a checkup.
and widya wanted to accompany me so yeah.
we went.
like always, it's packed with people.
but after they get out of the door from the doctor's office,
they looked happy and well.
and of course I'm the majority.

got into this Malay lady doctor,
and she asked me what's wrong.
maybe she didn't see the obvious.
i claim to have Bell's palsy and she looked kind of
shock that i know.

well, it was and it is still is Bell's Palsy.
she asked me to go see and eye and ear specialist.
at the hospital( which i made an appointment already)
i got MC till Wednesday, but i believe i can come back for more.

well, what's new about me now?
i look like someone in a batman movie,
oh well i hope i looked like Robin
but i don't.
I look like Two Face in Batman.
not because of my excessive make up on Friday nights
at Changi.

It's because i've been suspected to have Bell's Palsy.
well i think that's true having all the symptoms .
Really a slap by reality ( which leaves a obvious mark),
that I'm getting old!
It's rare for my age though.

Basically, it's the breakdown of my nerves.
There's a picture of it.

sometimes it feels cool having this but..
there's excessive amount of water coming out
from my left eye.

something struck me today,
it's about karma.
i don't know what's really karma.
is it something you could get instant like noodles
or is it something you get long term?

this happened to me twice.
i don't know whether i'm just plain slenge
or what.

i was sitting in the mrt,
i placed my mp3 on my lap(easier to change2),
then an old lady walked in,
i forgot i had the mp3 on my lap.
i offered my seat to her,
my mp3 dropped.
i was like...
it happened twice!

i'm doing something good to someone,
and something bad happens to me?
does this means karma doesn't come instantly?

people tend to look karma at a bigger picture.
or should i say they only know its karma cause it's
a big event.
like if someone does something bad to you.
and you tend to remember it majorly because,
its you and it's something bad.
so what i'm saying is when the person who
cause you suffering, suffers.
you will directly remember the thing he/she did to you.
then you believe it's karma.

for me, it's unfair to the little things in karma contacts.
like giving a smile to someone and getting it back.
that's karma already.
people don't tend to look things in smaller detail.
it's the smaller details makes up your life.

like colors makes up a picture,
like words making up a book,
like threads making up a shirt
and like movie stars making up a movie.

ever walked in the rain together with someone special?
well, past few days, i did.
it was so heartwarming for me,
being able to share this thing called the umbrella,
to be specific an umbrella from Motorola,
really lighten up the day(even though it's raining cats and dogs),

when you're under that umbrella, nothing else matters,
like your shoes getting wet, or hair's all messed up or your new watch got
into the rain,
it doesn't matter,
what matters is that both of you want to get out that difficult
period together,
putting together first rather than yourself,

you tend to think for the other person,
worrying she/he might slipped off or ensuring
that it's fine,
both of you wants to get this "ordeal together",
like mariah carey might say, "make it through the rain"
that was what i feel, togetherness;

a simple walk, probably a few blocks away
could tell alot of things about someone,
you can gain trust as the person holds the umbrella,
you know she/he won't take your space under it,

all that water hitting hard on the umbrella,
the outside world so hectic and chaotic while,
you're under a thin layer of polyster?(not too sure),
where everything is calm cause you know you have
what you need, the other party,

Well, 3 seasons of this British comedy really winning my
hearts all over the world.

I met up with my significant other who look awesome in her pink
dress. I took time off of work of being a treble winner for Arsenal
in my gaming world of Football Manager.
Sat through 1 hour or so watching Citizen Dog which i truly regret
watching, well that's part and parcel of Movie "adventure".

The day before somewhat a sending off for one of my bestest friends.
Firdaus Kassim who's just send to National Service; If you're reading this
bro, in some jungle, sorry i didn't sent u off . (well i know there's no such thing
as internet time there =)).
A dine at Simpang Bedok and a battling bowling event at Safra really showed
how close and how competitive things still are.

it's been awhile;
there's no cellphone for me for two week already due to
it's technical problems.

contrasting week of football personally for me.
last week's atrocious display at Safra had been saved
by today's marvelous performance at Qiaonan Primary School.
Personally, I've been reaping praises not only from my dad but
from referees too.
After the game today, the referee came up to me and said
he liked the way i play and was impressed.
I graciously thanked him.

many things have popped up recently,
like my secondary school reunion or family gatherings.
The short trips with mother, widya and Nadiah to Salvation Army
Thrift shops looking for bargains.
Rounds around Singapore with Widya for none other than flea markets.

11 months exactly today when I've got together with my significant other.
all i can say it's been a dream for me;
and i certainly can't wait for roller blading and watching DVDs at home together.

I've noticed that a number of Singaporeans;
well a huge number of Singaporeans are self conscious.
My friend was trying to take pictures for our photography of a
number of old men doing
what they're doing, for instance selling ice-creams or selling
used goods.

hmm.
my friend was told off by them.
I thought being a salesman or an ice-cream vendor suppose
to be friendly and happy?

Isn't it a compliment that we're taking pictures of them
while doing something noble?
I think if an Angmoh were to take a picture of them
with their extravagant camera, the "models" would
willingly let them.

But i would do the same if I'm in their position.

Advantages.

Play soccer in the house without worrying
complaints from under my level.

Disadvantages.

Tsunami or Flood.
A black Hyundai might crash on my window.

Constant irritance of pest or birds.

Noise from the road;
especially motorcycles.

i would like to say I've fallen in love with DVDs,
love them but hate the prices.
like i love cats but hated the musical.
=)

well hari raya wasn't "hari raya" this year.
i didn't wake up feeling..."let's go out today and eat!"
kind of mood.
In terms of clothing, i was suited up.
with Samping and all.

but gradually happiness was send in small green (variation) packets
filled with different colors of Yusof Ishak.
I've never kept tons of same gender pictures as
much as his.

visual aspects of me weren't taken during this year's
festive month as I'm always carrying the camera.
Well, a passing remark was given about me;
"10 years of taking pictures with the family, there'll be
no me as I'm the one taking the picture"
That's what i call a unsung hero.

3 days not meeting widya really taken its toll.
i wasn't feeling woooo at all.
3 days of not having a common habit.
but habit was back on track on Monday.

I'm sure it was a weird way to start the week.
but it was new uh?
it's something we knew going to happen.
and we didn't know it would be soon.

it's not sex we're talking about.
sex is not weird.

it's not like we've had it.

defending champions in a cold Saturday morning,
only 3 survivors from last year's winning team,

we're targeted like the last year's defending champions,
every goal we concede was like a Christmas celebration
for them,

the teams were divided in groups;
where we were placed in Group A.

The first game saw we concede two quick goals,
the defense were way up the court and the second goal
was poor handling skills by the goalkeeper,
2-0 down; the crowd against us.

seconds later, Ahmad pulled one back before halftime,
He scored another to make the game level,
lastly against all odds, i passed two defenders and
smashed the ball back of the net,
3-2 it finished,

in the quarters we went against an upcoming team,
Ahmad managed to scoff one goal; and
we defended our way to the semi finals,

semi finals, my team went ahead first with
my placed shot and rounded off the game
with another goal, nice goal btw,

Ahmad had to go so we had to change our way to attack;
When Ahmad was playing, we played a good passing game,
without him we had to have another way,

in the finals, we went against last year's beaten finalist,
last year we won 2-1.
i was heavily marked; two big lads bullied me in the first half,
0-0 when we started the second half,
we didn't control the entire game,
but i demanded the goalkeeper to throw the ball up
to me,
well, after awhile, it paid off.

a long throw from naz and i flicked the ball
with my head( 2 defenders went for me
rather than the other player who's Luqman)
and my overlapping defender
smashed the ball at the back of the net,
1-0 it finishes.

we're there for the last game in the Kallang Stadium.
Me and 20 odd friends of mine
but seated separately due to punctuality
reasons caught Singapore's defeat to Australia.

STAMFORD, Conn., June 26, 2007 – World Wrestling Entertainment today released additional details of what it knows concerning communication with Chris Benoit and authorities before and after the tragic double homicide-suicide involving Benoit, his wife Nancy, and his son, Daniel.

WWE’s timeline of events began on Saturday:

On Saturday, June 23, Chris Benoit was slated to appear at a WWE live event in Beaumont, Texas. That afternoon, Benoit contacted WWE to inform them that his wife and child were ill, and that he would not be able to attend the show.

WWE executives rebooked Benoit’s flight for the following morning, allowing Benoit to miss the Beaumont event and making alternate arrangements for him to attend the pay-per-view event in Houston on Sunday.

WWE employees attempted to confirm with Benoit his travel plans but were unable to contact him.

Early Sunday morning, between 3:51 and 3:58 a.m., Benoit sent five text messages to co-workers:

Text Message 1 to two co-workers (sent 6/24 at 3:53am)- Chris Benoit’s cell phone

“My physical address is 130 Green Meadow Lane, Fayetteville Georgia. 30215”

Text Message 2 to two co-workers (sent 6/24 at 3:53am)- Chris Benoit’s cell phone

“The dogs are in the enclosed pool area. Garage side door is open”

Text Message 3 to two co-workers (sent 6/24 at 3:54am)- Nancy Benoit’s cell phone

Throughout the day on Sunday, WWE made numerous attempts to contact Benoit both at home and at local hospitals in the Atlanta area. As of 11:00 p.m., WWE officials were unable to establish contact with Chris Benoit.

At 12:30 p.m. on Monday, June 25, WWE officials were notified of the text messages sent to the co-workers the previous day. By 12:45 p.m., WWE had contacted Fayetteville County Sheriff’s office requesting they check on the Benoit family.

Fayetteville County Sheriffs office made contact with WWE at approximately 4:00 p.m. advising that they had entered the house of Chris Benoit and found three deceased bodies – an adult male, adult female and a male child. WWE was told that Benoit’s home was now considered a major crime scene.

The decision to cancel the live event scheduled in Corpus Christi that night was made between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. In keeping with company policy, and with limited knowledge regarding facts of the case, WWE choose to air a memorial dedicated to the career of Chris Benoit. As facts emerged surrounding the case, all tributes to Chris Benoit were removed both on-air and on WWE.com.

i just watched the 13th episode
of How I Met Your Mother,
i was left with total
awesomeness.

Ground Knowledge.
it revolves around Ted the main actor
of the show.
He's so in love with Robin, a news
reporter. But Robin doesn't feel
the same way as Ted.

Episode 13.
Robin broke up with Harris, billionaire.
And Ted needed a date to their friends'
wedding.
To his amazement, Robin agreed.
Ted knew that that night at the wedding
will be a turning point of his life,
of their life.

Robin was so excited. She brought
a exquisite dress and a pair of really
expensive shoes.
(Wedding was called off and on again
because Ted didn't inform the couple
that he would bring someone; major fight)

On that wedding night,
Ted picked Robin up at her place.
She looked beautiful.
Ted felt that this is the night,
but... the phone rang.
What luck,
Bad luck for Ted as Robin
got anchor that particular night,
She was happy because that's the
position she wanted all along.

Ted went to the wedding alone,
well..this is the best part.

9. Bury $1000 note at Time Park, hoping it will grow someday.
10. Turn on my air conditioner 24/7 hoping my neighbour will enjoy it too.
11. Hire two maids just to watch them play table tennis whenever i want.
12. Wanting to know how many $2 notes (lined up on the ground) will it take from my house
to Widya's place.
13. Pay a 3 year old to paint my new condo.
14. Have my own version of Deal or No Deal and of course my chosen models.
